SPORTFISHING

The Eastern Pacific region boasts some of the finest local and offshore fishing in the world. With great weather year-round, and a one-of-a-kind fishing fleet, a memorable experience is available for all levels of anglers, from novice to experienced.

MEXICO

SAC has Associate Members in Mazatlan, San Ignacio, and Cabo San Lucas. These members include hotels, marinas, brokers, and charter boats. SAC highly encourages conducting business with these organizations.
COAST GUARD

This section is intended for use by commercial passenger fishing vessels (CPFV) that hold a Certificate of Inspection. Included here are several documents and forms required to comply with U.S. Coast Guard rules and regulations.

WHALE WATCHING

Grey whales, blue whales, fin whales, and orcas all frequent the California coast. Whale-watching tours throughout the region offer trips ranging from three hours to ten days. In addition to viewing whales, passengers have the opportunity to see dolphins, sea lions, and other marine mammals in their natural habitats.

DESCENDING DEVICES

SAC strongly encourages the use of descending devices to ensure rockfish stocks remain healthy for years to come. See our barotrauma information website to learn more about this condition that affects deep water species, and to purchase your own descending device.
