SAC MEETS WITH MEXICAN CONGRESSMEN

SAC participated in a forum with the Mexican northern border states congressmen.  This was a joint effort with the San Diego Chamber of Commerce in order to request support and follow up with FMM's issues including the multiple re-entry document request.

The forum took place in Tijuana on July 13th, 2016.  The congressmen signed an agreement with the San Diego Chamber of Commerce committing to collaborate in issues that impact the Cali-Baja region equally. SAC had previously met with the Commissioner of Immigration of Mexico regarding the FMM multiple re-entry issue, and he shared that this was already in his to-do list however it implies a change in Mexican law which is a lenghty process.
