Minerva Saenz Valenzuela is a leader in marine conservation efforts in Baja Sur. Her dedication to preserving Cabo's fisheries is long-standing and has awarded her with significant recognition, including receiving the IGFA Conservation Award presented to her by IGFA President, Rob Kramer and Guy Harvey, PhD. This award is presented annually in recognition of tireless promotion of the conservation of marine resources including billfish conservation. Minerva is often referred to as the "Mother of Cabo fishing."

'Marinas de Baja' located in Cabo San Lucas provides excellent customer service to all of their guests, both owners and crew. With a storage capacity of over 42,000 gallons of marine diesel and 10,000 gallons of gas, their fuel dispensers are able to maintain flow up to 30 gallons per minute.
Each slip is equipped with full hook-ups, including: water, electricity (110/220), Wi-Fi, daily garbage collection, 24 hr. security, and an oil discharge with no additional cost. There is also a convenience store, showers, and office facilities available for guest use. Special requests, such as contacting Port Agents for clearing entrance, may be arranged as well.
The marina fuel dock is 160 ft. with an average depth of 12 feet and has the following measurements:
* 6 slips are 80 ft. long and can accommodate yachts up to 120ft;
* 8 slips are 55 ft. long and that can accommodate vessels up to 60ft;
* and 10 slips 50 ft. long that can accommodate vessels up to 55 ft.
A new dock with 250 linear feet of dockage with an average depth of 14ft was just completed, and the marine is scheduled to begin contraction of another dock in 6 months.
Occupation varies from season to season, and a phone reservation is recommended.

San Ignacio Lagoon
Ecoturismo Kuyima is a local community-based organization in the southeast of San Ignacio Lagoon. Since 1990 they have been developing ecotourism activities in the central region of the Baja California Peninsula, in El Vizcaino Biosphere Reserve, the largest natural protected area in Latin America.
They mainly promote the discovery of friendly grey whales of San Ignacio Lagoon and natural wonders, as well as expeditions to the cave paintings of the San Francisco Sierra and their spectacular surrounding landscapes.
They offer 12-day tour to whalewatch for up to a dozen different species which include gray, blue, fin, sperm, and humpback whales, and several kinds of dolphins along the Pacific side of Baja California, plus an extension into the rich waters of the Sea of Cortez, where even more whales and wildlife are abundant. 150 foot temporary fuel dock is ready and operational, and is located in the NE corner of the marina, the permanent 600 foot dock is still under construction.
HULL CLEANING -
In order to maintain maximum performance and to stretch the time between haul-outs, Marina Puerto Los Cabos offers professional diver services to clean the hulls while your boat is in the water. Underwater hull cleaning removes marine growth and minimal amount of antifouling paint.
POWER SUPPLIES -
Whenever you stay in port you will need electricity in your vessel, the Marina provides you power supplies on dock, 50A./ 30 A./ 100 A. In case you need a power adapter we can help you as well.
PUMP OUT -
The Marina provides pump-out service to boats of all sizes, if you need service once a week or just once during your stay, no more trips to a pump-out station, one less thing to deal with!

Marine Group Boat Works de Los Cabos is a full-service boat repair and drystack storage facility located at Puerto Los Cabos Marina in San Jose del Cabo. Our brand new facility covers over 200,000 square feet of land and water and encompasses the same amenities and state-of-the-art tools and technology that have been successful for our sister boatyard in San Diego.
With the first drystack storage system in Baja California, we can store 100 boats up to 33 feet in length. Our 150-ton Travelift allows haul-outs for boats up to 125 feet with a 28-foot maximum beam capacity. As an extension of the San Diego yard which boasts a 665-ton Travelift, we also have mechanical, paint, carpentry and welding workshops and first class amenities for owners, captains and crew.
